“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
-Viktor E. Frankl
Foresight Addendum: I was reading a manual on how to train slaves. In it, they asked a very deep and critical question, most likely unaware of its powerful nature. “What do you want?” What does anyone want, I suppose. Just having power, either over another or yourself, without a plan is like owning a blender with no recipes.
Action Addendum: Ah, my arch nemesis, time-management. I've talked about this before. It's an easy formula, Urgent before non-urgent, important before non-important. The evils of Minecraft and my Let's Plays seem to have stolen my soul, but as point one states, I've let this happen. Seems someone so assured that he is God of his own mind should be able to force himself into action. I think this will be my first and greatest goal of 2011. Put the important things before the non-important.
I'm sure if I felt like it, I would cover the other 4 habits, but I think I'll wait until 2021 for that. Besides, it will be a new age, where we must pass on by the fish, as we have the ram, and meet the man who pours flowing waters. I'll be, what? Forty-three by then?
